Texas teen facing felony charge for allegedly poisoning classmate’s goat

CEDAR PARK, Texas (Court Television)– A teen in Texas is dealing with major charges after she supposedly eliminated a schoolmate’s goat by poisoning it.

Aubrey Vanlandingham, 17, is charged with ruthlessness to livestock animals, a felony, and is due back in court for a pre-indictment hearing on Jan. 15.

According to an arrest affidavit gotten by KEYE, Vanlandingham admitted to force-feeding her schoolmate’s program goat pesticides, informing cops that she did so since she thought her schoolmate to be “a cheater.” Vanlandingham supposedly informed officers this was her 2nd effort to toxin the animal.

Authorities gotten security video supposedly revealing Vanlandingham collecting products at her school’s barn and after that strolling to the goat pens, KVUE reported. When there, she appears to require a syringe into a goat’s mouth numerous times.

An examination exposed that Vanlandingham utilized her phone to browse questions about deadly dosages of bleach and techniques of poisoning animals in addition to, “How to clear search history,” KEYE reported.

The goat’s owners informed cops that Vanlandingham sent them a video of the goat before its death, stating it wasn’t acting right, KVUE reported.

Vanlandingham was launched from prison after publishing a bond, according to court records.
