Jeremy Best pleads guilty to murdering pregnant wife, son

DRIGGS, Idaho (Scripps News Boise)– A guy implicated of eliminating his pregnant partner, coming kid, and 10-month-old boy in 2023 pleaded guilty to several murder charges Thursday in Driggs, Idaho.

Jeremy Albert Best, 50, prevented the capital punishment through a plea arrangement, according to a press release from prosecuting lawyers in Teton and Bonneville Counties.

On Thursday, Best confessed to First Degree Murder in the death of his child, Zeke Best, and Second Degree Murder in the deaths of his spouse, Kali Best, and her coming kid, Freya.

Best was called as the suspect the suspect in a December 2023 Amber Alert including his boy, Zeke. Private investigators stated Best took Zeke after he killed his pregnant partner.

One day after the Amber Alert was provided, hunters in Bonneville County discovered Best in a sleeping bag on the side of the roadway and signaled authorities. Deputies reported finding Zeke’s body in a close-by embankment.

Finest formerly pleaded innocent to the criminal activities, however according to the press release, the plea contract was reached through felony mediation including the victims’ households.
